Power Capacitors - Structure of Collective Capacitors

Collective capacitors are products developed in the mid-1980s. The emergence of such products is the progress of my country's power capacitor manufacturing technology. Due to the influence of heat dissipation conditions and other factors in traditional capacitors, the capacity of a single capacitor cannot be made too large. The collective capacitor solves the problem of heat dissipation by setting an oil passage for circulating heat dissipation, and installing a radiator for large-capacity products. The capacity of the station can be greatly increased. The collective capacitor structure is mainly composed of capacitor units, brackets for fixing capacitor units, insulating oil, insulating parts, connecting wires, outlet bushings, oil tanks, oil compensation devices, pressure temperature controllers, pressure relief valves, etc.

An appropriate number of fully sealed capacitor units with iron shells are fixed in a box filled with insulating oil through brackets. The insulating parts and insulating oil ensure the insulation of the exposed terminals of the capacitors from the shell, and the insulating oil conducts the heat emitted by the capacitors in time. Collective capacitor insulation Cooling oil has good insulation and heat transfer performance, the distance between units is much smaller than in the air, generally 20~30mm, the insulation between the terminal of the capacitor unit and the case and between the conductors, etc Compared with the air, the distance can be greatly reduced.

Compared with the frame capacitor, the collective capacitor has a large capacity, a small volume, and a small footprint. In addition, after the collective capacitor is installed in place, it only needs to connect a few external line terminals before it can be put into operation, so it is easy to install and easy to maintain.
