This CBB60-specification capacitor is a customized dual-capacity combination component, integrating two independent or related electrical units of 10μF and 4.5μF within a 50mm diameter cylindrical package. It is primarily designed for small and medium-sized induction motors requiring precise starting torque and stable continuous operation, addressing limited installation space within equipment through its compact physical layout.


Technical Characteristics and Application Logic

Internal Physical Architecture: This capacitor uses typical polypropylene film as the dielectric and is vacuum metallized. The 10+4.5 value combination usually corresponds to the "starting" and "running" phases of a motor, or is used to drive two power units with different power ratings (such as the main motor and exhaust fan in a range hood).

Fully Sealed Encapsulation Process: The external structure is completely encapsulated with epoxy resin. This fully sealed design forms a natural physical barrier, isolating it from external moisture and dust. In high-humidity environments such as electric water pumps or air coolers, this encapsulation effectively prevents the deterioration of electrical performance and ensures that the internal core is protected from environmental corrosion.

Self-healing and Safety Margins: The product possesses excellent self-healing capabilities. When a local dielectric breakdown occurs, the metallized layer at the breakdown point quickly evaporates, automatically isolating the fault point from the circuit. Coupled with its strong overload capacity, it can maintain long-term parameter stability even when faced with instantaneous surge currents (such as motor stalling or frequent starting and stopping).

Electrical Conversion Efficiency: Due to the use of low-loss dielectric materials, the capacitor generates very little heat during operation. High insulation resistance ensures the stability of charge storage. This characteristic is directly reflected in the terminal equipment, resulting in smoother motor operation, lower noise, and effectively extending the service life of the motor windings.


Typical Application Scenarios: With its standard 50mm installation diameter and specific capacity ratio, it is widely used in the following equipment:

Water treatment equipment: such as phase starting of small electric water pumps.

Air circulation systems: such as multi-speed control of air coolers, exhaust fans, and range hoods.
